dbt: Runtime Error: Could not find profile named '...'

The profile named in dbt_project.yml does not exist in the profiles.yml dbt is reading. Usually dbt is reading a different profiles.yml than expected, or the profile key is misspelled.

Common causes

1. profiles.yml is not where dbt looks: by default ~/.dbt/, or the directory in --profiles-dir or DBT_PROFILES_DIR.How to confirm: Run dbt debug; it prints the profiles.yml path it uses.
2. The profile key in profiles.yml does not match profile: in dbt_project.yml.How to confirm: Compare the top-level keys of profiles.yml with the profile setting.
